The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Texas held a kick-off luncheon on June 16 for the non-exclusive BGCNetwork, a new networking group. BGCNetwork was developed to assist local business professionals learn how to receive more leads and referrals and close more business. Established by executives with years of expertise in several business fields, BGCNetwork members will have access to experienced corporate executives and entrepreneurs that know what is required to be successful in today’s business environment. BGCNetwork Launches New Local Networking Group The kick-off meeting luncheon was held as Los Toreros Restaurant in Denton this month, hosted by J.B. (Babs) Troutman, President of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Texas, as well as Rick Troutman, Vice President, Resource Development for the group. The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Texas is comprised of area youth development professionals with more than 18 years experience working with area youth.The Club offers a comprehensive computer lab, fine arts program, character building program, prevention and resiliency programs, and leadership opportunities, as well as sports, fitness and recreation. At the Club, kids ages 6 through 17 develop a sense of ownership as they are allowed to make choices about their Club and their environment within a defined set of parameters.
